I am an officer candidate for the US Marines. When I recieve my Bachelor's degree, I will get a commision as 2nd lieutenant, USMC. Officers have much more and much harder training than enlisted people. As far as enlisted boot camp goes, Air Force is the easiest, Navy is second easiest, Army is second toughest, and the Marines' boot camp is the hardest. The Marines are basically a combination of the other services. If you have extreme mental toughness and are highly adaptable to any situation, join the Marines. Don't expect a cushy job. Every Marine has to qualify as a rifle expert and be unarmed combat effective. That way, if all of the grunts die, you can put the secretaries out in the field and still annihiliate the enemy. If there is one thing that seperates Marines from everyone else, it is the mental toughness. In that respect, you cannot defeat them. army only in for a few years...*unfortunate problems with a sgt. that got a little out of hand....* the thing i prefered about the army is the fact it is more skill and technical personality that is why the new motto is *army of one*....

as for marines ...there is a reason why they are called slug catchers.... they are trained to go head first and take out everything or be taken out...

navy....really have no opinion about the sea faring people ..not really an ocean person myself..

air force.. probably one of the more high tech branches but as for physically fitness the weakest of the military ....
