I was just watching a show about some lady who was in the middle of an operation and woke up. She said she could feel her skin tearing apart and it felt like there was a blowtorch in her stomach. Yeah, I'm scared shitless now. I was scared before, but now I am scared shitless. That would be something that would happen to me. Ya know? I mean ..common, I am your classic clutsy (i.e. I stabbed myself with a fork).

hmmm, waking up during surgery would suck. I had a dream a few weeks ago that I woke up while being embalmed...too many horror movies, maybe.

ya know what? i didn't wake up during my stuff? as far as i can tell that kinda stuff is a freak accident and its very rare it happens.

Well, never a fork in the hand. I did cut my leg with a chainsaw, but it just hit the shin bone, so no real damage. My clumsy accidents tend to involve me hitting my head on things...good thing I have a thick skull.

vamptress don't worry about it... i have had 4 operations... you don't feel a thing... you nocked out as it is... you will be fine... i was having an operation on my back... i'm telling the same story to vamptress... as i did to shot... when i had my back operated on... i was nocked out... i only felt my body being fliped over... then i felt a few pokes and needles... then i woke up... but it didn't hurt... and i was fine... i know that you are going to do fine... you should have nothing to fear... *hugs you tightly*

That's freaking weird. Like everyone else, my operations have always been fine.

But waking up from the sedation? They couldn't wake my boyfriend's brother from sedation when they were trying. He did spaz and almost tear every tube from his throat/stomach/wherever else they put them. There were so many tubes on him . . . . . when he was spazzing, there were all kinds of people holding him down-- and he was actually picking them up off of the ground!!! I'm not talking about petite people, either. Scary? Yes.

Well, not a fork in the hand, but very clumsy anyway... When I was about 10 years old, I managed to stick my leg in the spinning wheel of a bike, when i was driving it at a rather high speed... good think i didn't manage to stick it too far, otherwise the damage could be much worser, and good thing a friend was close, who helped me to get at home.

I stuck my hand in the back of a television set. I guess it was an accident, I thought maybe if I tapped something inside it'd start working again. Obviously not.

I thought god spoke to me once.... He said that I had the wisdom of youth and the engery of old age.....

geez...maybe ive been playing to safely.... i havent had any bad accidents....
well there has the time i got stuck under a fallback chair....i was playing hide and seek so shut up...

I perform open heart surgery on myself with not so much as a tylenol sedative. its quite fun actually, i never feel any pain

..it was kinda funny when I saw all de lil bones being re-connected when me hand was shot..suppose I was lucky, de bullet went almost exactly through de middle of me palm..breaking de bones, yet not shattering them..only finger I have trouble with is me middle..it's a bit awkward to move it so every time I hit de "T" key, I have to actually think about it..unlike before de "accident"..when I was able to hit de keys without (much) thought. But I refused to be knocked out during de operation..thought it would be pointless, all things considered. Not to say that I din' have painkillers..jus' that I was able n' allowed to actually watch them add lil wire thingies connecting de bones together..

Wow, thats pretty cool. But I would never do that ...I'd end up puking everywhere.

I'm the most clumsy person ever, I've had more accidents then I can count! It's incredibly lucky that I haven't been seriously hurt!
