read many of these posts in thuis forum, and i think people just follow god because they are scared of death...i don't just think this, actually i'm 100% sure!!!

im a satanist, but i don't believe in satan, because if i did i'd have to believe in god and that would make me a coward two...makes sense???no???FUCK YOU THEN!!!

A Satanist who doesn't believe in Satan. Hmm... if that statement holds any validity whatsoever, then "Satanism" is quite the misnomer.

For instance, I'd assume that Satanism - whether involving actual devil worship or following LaVey's moronic doctrine - involves the worship of something. If you believe devils don't exist, then I can't see who you'd be worshipping. Wouldn't that just be a form of Atheism? Help me out here. Isn't this the exact same thing as a Christian not believing in Christ? Of course, I'm not all that down with the Dark Side, so the only things I know about Satanism are what I read.

anyway, there are many satanists that DON'T believe in Satan...satanism is about worshipping the carnal instinctsm, it's about worshipping the flesh and about worshipping yourself. Now, in Satanism, these points are called "Satan". Satan is not a person with horns, red skin and a long tail. Satan is the instincts of the human, which the christians forbid in their religion. That's why it's called satanism: Because it's the opposite of christianity. It has nothing to do with the thought up person "Satan"...hope you understand this...

on the other hand, there are satanic groups that worship the devil, but that's a whole other story:)

i know that there are many people that disagree with LaVey and i know many people that do...
i just said that you don't get it, 'cause you said that i have to whorship the devil if i'm a satanist...that's what gave me the impression that you didn't get LaVey...you don't have to whorship the devil...you don't have to worship anything to be a satanist...in LaVey's theory of Satanism, he sais that a satanist should worship anything that he wants to...so if taking a bath is the most important thing in your life, then worship that because that's the only true thing for you...
i still have the impression that you didn't give his theory a chance...

Eh, anybody who bashes anybody else's religion is only doing so because they doubt their own. I find that people who truly have faith are the ones who keep their mouths shut, and state their opinions only when asked.

i think u can state your opinion if u want... and just because u do doesn't mean that everybody has to agree with u...
and just because u bash someones religon doesn't mean that your in doubt of your own...

i don't think anyone can be 100% comfortable with their religon... how is that possible...

it's only possible if you create your own religion...but then it's man made(like every existen religion), and that would make you doubt it again...so, you're right, you can't be 100% comfortable with any religion...even if you yourself founded it:confused:

Religion is a place for people to lay rules together and a strict faith system to dictate what it's followers should do.

Faith does not.

Religion was created to organize like minded people together. Definately man made.

Faith is what you believe without the outside influences of man.
