Ummm...no.

Let's take a look at this Jesus guy. He was born. He went around telling everyone to be nice to each other. He told everyone to stop pretending like having money made them special. He told everyone that everyone was equal. Above all he told everyone that Love was the most important thing.

Yeah, I can see how you'd think he was a crazy guy. We really gotta stop these nutjobs from telling you to love everyone. That kind of stuff just ruins the world. (Please note sarcasm). Hell, they thought he was so evil they decided to nail him to a tree for it. (The Jews that is. The Roman's had much more realistic reasons.)

Jesus never created the Christian religion. His disciples did, and Jesus was no longer on the earth when the Christian religion was forming.

Now the Christian religion is supposed to be based on the principle's Jesus taught, but there's been a great deal added to that. I fail to see how all this equals the "christian style cult" HE created.

Perhaps you should do a bit more research before jumping to ridiculous conclusions. Or at leave the religion hang ups at home.

Unless you have significant information to back this statement up, this is a pointless question

There is exremely little biographical information about the life of Jesus, but, yeah, if he existed, he was probably a little out there.

jesus didnt die for my sins. i had no sins i did not exist. jesus died for his own sins. i as a wicce have no sins i dont follow the christian path therefore i cannot deviate from it by sinning . i follow the rede and the threefold law. jesus died for his own sins. and rightly so, back up a religion lead ppls into it and then fuck around. and they say we're bad.

Despite the presence of some great geniuses on this thread, this discussion has evolved little past utter stupidity, proving once more that any thread is only as good as it's first post. On another note, Jesus never claimed he was God, and unlike all the other "messiahs" of that time, did NOT urge his followers to violence or try to rise to material power or even actually claim to be the son of God. This is all assuming he even existed of course, but oh well...

Jesus was alive, you just have to much pride to admit it.

Everyone who recites the Lord's Prayer calls God father...it's a rather common term to use for the Almighty in certain circles.

they use this term because god is supposedly the father of every human/thing on this earth.

are you to say the jews were correct by not acknowleging that jesus was god's son?

I'm not commenting the actual truth behind the relationship, merely what was said. Jesus never claimed to be the Son of God himself.

The holy trinity makes no sense and everyone who has ever tried to explain it to me has failed and also realized this. Let the H2O analogies commence.

It makes plenty of sense. The Almighty has multiple personality disorder. I heard he's seeing Dr. Katz (that was a great show, why'd they cancel it?)

It was, I don't know. It's probably part of the same conspiracy that caused Get A Life to be cancelled.
