Now normally I avoid these discussions, but I came across this intresting online poll a couple weeks ago I've been thinking about. It was an opinion poll about who would win in a four way fight between Lestat (Interview with the Vampire), Deacon Frost (Blade), Nick what'shisname (Forever Knight), and David (Lost Boys). I didn't really like the results, so I decided to conduct my own vote. If you don't know who any of these people are, just vote for David.

Well, I think it's pretty fucking obvious who would win! While the Super Star Destroyer has the size advantage over the Enterprise, The Super Star Desroyer has lazers, and the Enterprise has Phasers and Quantum Torpedoes, and they mentioned on The Next Generation that Phasers are thousands of times more powerful than lazers, so...

Which nerd argument was this again? Superman versus The Hulk?

This isn't about nerdom, it's about being a movie buff.

Deacon can't fly and has no real super powers aside from supernatural strength and speed. Lestat can levitate and read minds but aside from that it's the same. Nick what'shisname I know nothing about so I'll assume he dies. David on the other hand can create illusions, fly, control the wind, read minds, make that funky halo of light effect, influence people's thoughts, and so on and so forth. And he's got a cooler theme song. So I go with David.

Although it pains me to say this since in Interview Lestat is the coolist... he would not even come close to winning. Lets see here... I haven't seen lost boys yet so I don't know how powerful that one fucker is... but really it would probably be Deacon Frost since he has more battle experience from what i can tell, except in Forever Night... that guy kicks ass.

Really though it depends on how vampiric they are... what powers do they have, how old are they, how powerful are they "magically"...

Lestat seems though to be weak... he has good survival instincts but look at how slowly it took for him to recover from getting beat up by Claudia... WEAK AS HELL...

Nick has some strength going for him... but in my opinion he isn't powerful enough.

Deacon Frost though proved he can kick ass when he fought the mighty Blade bastard... although really... Jean-Claude from the books done by Hamilton would probably kick any one of these guys asses... easily.

I think Nick would win, simple because he has fought and killed other vampires before, so he has a high amount of battle experience and would know what would be effective

Or Abraham Van Helsing (was forced to become a vamp after the whole dracula thing)?

And maybe Elisabeth Bathory?

Or Zsusana Tsepesh (Turned into a vamp by Dracula)?

There are so many other vampires in vampire lore out there, and a large sum of them are even better then that which I have seen you mention, Dark Messiah...

I vote Lestat. I've read the whole series of books, and he just kicks major ass! :cool:

I happen to think the Tall Man (Angus Scrimm) from Phantasm would kick all of their asses. Even though he isn't a vamp, he's got that cool ball thing with the blades. That is my opinion.

I've read the series also, so I say Lestat. Unless of course Dark Messiah get in on it too. Then I'd vote for him.

They were using the movie Lestat, which makes sense considering in the books they basically made him God. Rather DBZish. And I'm a lover, not a fighter.
