For future references, pay someone to come and clean your bathroom sink drain.

Imagine.... For a few years it has been my mother, sister, and I living in a new house and... after 6 years of living here she made a hook out a large paper clip and pulled out clumps of hair and God only knows what else. The look, and smell of it was the most disturbing thing I've ever seen. We all have long, thick hair, and for some reason, we shed alot. So for your own safety, pay someone to clean your drains if you live with a female. :vomito:

That ain't nothin. Try having the sewer system back-up through your toilet, and the bathtub and the bathroom sink, literally shit everywhere in there

If you clean out your drain regularly it isn't a problem. the clods of hair in the sink I mean. If the sewer system backs up panic. I remember the time just this summer when I accidently wrenched the kitchen faucet clean off it's piping, water started gushing everywhere.

What the hell were you doing to do that?

Well, the faucet had taken to leaking and I found that if you pulled up on the faucet it would usually stop dripping. I guess I don't know my on strength.

What, it dissolves hair and suchlike?

it chemically reacts with water and becomes like a strong acid, just dont breath the shit vapour that comes off it, it disolves pretty much anything in its path.

it's sodium hydroxide (a strong base) that dissolves the lipids/proteins

yeah, try swallowing some, it will clean out your insides pretty good too.

because it is breaking down the lipids and proteins within you. plus you would be mixing a strong acid (stomach acid) and a strong base (sodium hydroxide) which is a big no no.

Yeah but the hydrochloric acid in our stomachs is weaked by various stomach contents, so isn't quite as bad as it could be.
