These are divine!
They are just baked slices of aubergine (eggplant) but they make a nice alternative to crackers or savoury biscuits.
1. Turn on your oven or grill to a high heat. Say Gas 7, 180 degrees (C).
2. Cut an eggplant lengthways into slices about a quarter inch (half cm) thick.
3. Put them into the oven or grill for about 15-20 minutes until dry.
You can eat them warm or cold, by themselves or with maybe some mushroom pate or hummus.
