Just go by the following rules....

1: Thou shalt not post threads regarding thine taking of thy own life. If thou truly were wont to commit suicide thou would not posteth it to total strangers.

2: Thou shalt not make threads dedicated to thy favorite band/artist. To do so is to invite the scorn of everyone whomso disliketh that band/artist.

3: Thou shalt not ask the definition of whosoever is or is not a "goth". To do so is to invite calamity

4: Thou shall not make bland generalizations about the entire population of the Darkness community, and consider yourself superior to them. To do so is idiocy.

5: It being well-established that no new poems or artwork art being accepted by Darkness, ye shall make no posts attempting to adress this well-known issue.

6: Thou shall not insult a god of Darkness, save that ye know what ye are talking about.

7: Ye shall not start any threads based on religion, save that ye have an original, non-cliche argument to make, and that thou haveth an understanding of the arguments that have gone before.

8: Ye shall not start a new thread, saveth thou have some actual subject to bring forth in discussion.

9: Thou shall not break one of the sacred tenets of Darkness and then whineth when the mighty and just gods of Darkness smight thee down.

10: The Frog is thy god; thou shall haveth no other god before him.

just go by these and trust me, no one will notice you're new. Otherwise don't complain when people call you a newbie.

No affense Messiah, but you nor anyone else here can control what other's do or say by giving them rules or obligations to follow. There are some like me that come to this thread to talk about everything and anything because that is what the general board was intended for. Sorry, but i just disagree with trying to control anyone in this board. Think about it, if there was no one in here that had a different opinion about things then it would be boring. No one would come here if it was all the same. Now i don't know what everyone thinks of me or if this post will even be considered as a rational thought but...................oh well.

Acid, I understand what you're saying, but I don't think you quite understood what I wrote...I'm not suggesting that you have to follow my rules or any rules, I'm merely laying out the guidelines for how to avoid getting in arguments or pissing people off unduly. If you actually review the list they're actually pretty reasonable. Maybe #2, but I'm not saying you can't post band threads, I'm just warning you that if you do they'll be a half a dozen people who hate that band on your ass.

about someone being a newbie i just want to know one thing are u people going by when the person registered or by the title they are given after a certain amount of posts.

becuase if u ask me it should go by when they registered and not by the title which would mean that the people who registered in december are the newbies...like i was a newbie in october.

but not one of those newbies that went around trying to show off an look big in front of everyone. i just posted in the threads i liked and just put down my own opinion i didnt start on someone elses just becuase it was the same as mine..anyways cya's im away to play escape from monkey island!
