Eat poop. Seriously though... I wouldn't do anything that wouldn't be beneficial to myself (yeah I'm self centred) like I wouldn't do something that'd scar me emotionally for the rest of my life just for the sake of someone being there to witness me in my traumatised state! I would give my life to save another, also from a selfish point, so that I'd be escaping from this god foresaken planet! Probably wasn't the answer you were looking for... *shrugs* I just believe you shouldn't love something so much that you can't watch it die.

NEXT QUESTION: if life is so sacred, how come we reproduce from the same places we excrete? (answer: it's not but I wanna hear your opinions...)
