i'll bring you up to date. there was a big push in the US against france due to they're stance on the war. so everything to do with france was renamed freedom. instead of french fries, our lovely retarded congress renamed them freedom fries, so on and so forth. what they are doing here is using freedom in place of any french word that has been intigrated into english/american.
