You said yourself Six that a government that governs less rules best, this is called "liberal democracy", it's where the government remembers that they are elected representitives and actually represents the electorate, this system is working fantastically in Switzerland and also in the Netherlands I think.
The fact that you came out with this quote led me to believe that you were informed and educated about your political viewpoint however, your complete blindness to the fact that the government is even the slightest bit infallable goes against this assumption.
