I know what your talking about.. but i disagree.
I see it more as 'feminism gone to far'.
Equal oppurtunity is now about reverse sexism... Pro feminism, while everyone who objects is 'sexist'.
Example: Coming up in Melb, is the 'Nike Womens classic Fun Run'. A fun run for women only.
To hold a: 'Nike Mens classic fun run' is illegal, and considered sexist.
This is where Pro feminism has taken 'equal oppurtunity'.
Another example:
Insurance companies offering 'better rates for women drivers'.
If offered for 'men', its illegal, but for women, it is legal.
Apparently for society to be "equal" now, we have to grant exclusive sexist rights to females- very similar to sexist laws from around 100 years ago..
By creating legal sexism for women, this equals up to the last 100 yrs of sexist male laws... well apparently so.
