Is it possible, that the wells were set on fire by US/UK forces,
to try and foster support (they're trying so hard to get support)
from home, by claiming that Sadam did it.

I wonder what the media agencies within Iraq, are reporting to the Iraqi people - most likely exactly what I said, that it was the US.
Hence, 2 different stories, filled with propoganda, to try and gather support from either side. So did Sadam do it ?
