Supressing the urge he stared coldly at Malkil and tried to transport the group from the chamber, but found his powers blocked, trying another tack he attempted to cast a teleportation spell, the magic also failing. His head turned in a blur, watching the fire balls streak toward Her Servant. Shouting above the laughter of Malkil he tried to warn him.

The Black Slayers advanced, glaring he watched as they raised their weapons ready to strike, their magically enhanced weapons glowing brilliantly. Turning to DeAnna his eyes widened as he saw her not reacting. Snarling again he closed the distance between them in a heart beat striking the Black Slayer captain in the shield with his bare fist calling on all of his irresistable strength. The shield rent as a clarion peeled from the impact an instant before the thing vanished, appearing again implanted deep into the wall, as if it had teleported there, when in truth it had been moved so swiftly by the blow it was invisible to the eye. Turning to DeAnna he smiled grimly.
