A deep mocking laughter echoes through the chamber, as the air grows heavy. The wall opposite the Lifestone begins to emanate an overwhelming power as a cruel malignity creeps into the place, slithering across the walls it is light and barely noticable then grows suffocating, a seething enmity flooding from the it. The wall shifts as a giant face appears, the flawless marble morphing into a evil and sneering countenance, a cruel and sardonic smile upon its lips, the face of Malkil. The dark grains within the marble bulge outward from the face tracing around the room, appearing like tendrils or veins made of crude oil, rooting the thing into the very walls. The twisted lips parted and a low hiss escaped, its pitch increasing until it became like a cacophony of agonised screams, resolving into a clear and malicious voice.

Impudent fools, are you so naive as to believe such a relic as the Lifestone could be undone so easily, or that I would even keep it so unguarded, and pathetically hidden. The stone is safe, and unharmed, well beyond your grasp.

As the voice spoke, the apparent shear in the Lifestone began to seal, like a wound healing.

Your pathetic spells and rage are nothing more than futility, your expended energy only serves to make the Lifestone stronger, to make me stronger. Let me show you a glimpse of real power.

The face laughed as two large balls of fire streaked from it's eyes towards Her Servant. At the same time various symbols, runes and glyphs of pure white radiance began to appear upon the floor of the chamber. Holy symbols resonating purity that would be sickening to the vampires. From the sides of the face two pools of dark shadows congealed, and from within them rose two figures, Black Slayers. malkil's eyes fix directly upon Vorach.

Perhaps it was not such a good idea to come here now was it.

Malkil's countenance sneered, his mocking laugh echoing in deafening tones, as the Black Slayers began to advance, one moving to attack Orchid, the other toward DeAnna, with more rising from teh shadowy pools.
