I would like to add a third one to that set of choices if you dont mind.

Shooting yourself where your partner would never find you.

The thought of my partner never being able to find my body and have the closure that I really am dead... would be much worse.

I know if my mate killed herself and I was never able to find her body or even know that she was dead and she just dissapeared one day... well...
