i'm always finding feathers...my favorite is a red tailed hawk feather i found in a field when picking flowers after it swooped me...i believe that's one of my totems...i'm always seeing them soaring or just sitting on signs as i drive by...If i go out to my lilac bush i find a variety of little bird feather, chickadees, sapsuckers and sparrows are most common. However last summer there were some red winged black birds...i'm always surrounded by birds.
