"This 'cross' is found in an abandoned graveyard in Pleasant Point. The grave markers around it are very old, but still readable. This marker has no inscription, and falls in the right spot. At the head of the only road to this site is the typical Mason's Lodge. The graveyard has a plywood sign {knocked over} that states "Pioneer graveyard". In Nova Scotian terms, this usually means: "It was here when we got here".
