In his film he looks really vulnerable, before that he was just seen by some as a thug who's songs contained immense amounts of profanity. Its the fame game- first he was liked for his music and/or his 'bad boy' image, now people feel compassion and sympathy.

On another tack he's not going to be 30 next year is he? I heard that somewhere but last time I checked he was only about 24.
