You need to take a look at the news reports of the "Arab Street" sometime. Also take a look at the Islamic fundamentalist political parties that have been making gains all across much of the Islamic world. Even in Turkey we see the Islamic parties are making gains.

BTW, the Saudi's have been financing much of this. Its been on the news and our government is trying to work with the moderates there to end this. But I doubt that anything will really change until we stop buying their oil.
