The agnostic view is simply irrational. Unless you do not take a stance on the existence of the easter bunny, leprechauns, fairies, godzilla, and countless other fantasy figures, then it is illogical to not take a stance on god. You cannot prove bigfoot does not exist. It, like I have said before, is up to the person who makes the claim to justify it. Until bigfoot is justified, we do not believe in him. Until god is justified, it makes no sense to say you do not know if he exists. People are agnostic on this issue because they treat it differently than other issues. Logic and reason do not care what they are working towards, god is in the same category as beetlejuice and the tooth fairy. |
