Funny, this just might be someone who's had to go months wearing shoes that were literally held together by tape and who's experienced Christmases where there were no presents talking, but $256,000 and $833 a month on top of that doesn't exactly sound like "pig feed" to me. Honestly, the military is so completely self-righteous it sickens me at times. How about construction workers? They risk their lives as much as anyone in today's military does, more so in many cases, and they receive less compensation for it, and absolutely no glory or gratitude. In fact, they're looked down on. So don't get all fucking self-righteous just because some people have it better than you, because there people who are a lot worse off.
