Well, first we have to dissect words. A statement that is false is any statement that is not truth. A statement that is truth is something that correlates to what's inside reality. A statement cannot create truth; it can only reflect it. No arranging of words will ever create a truth that does not already exist. "Orange monkeys fourteen times", although not a lie, is not a truth, and therefore, false. In this train of thought, the statement "This statement is false" deals only with itself, and is therefore outside of reality, making it false. When people talk of the freedom of writing, speaking or thinking I cannot choose but laugh. No such thing ever existed. No such thing now exists; but I hope it will exist. But it must be hundreds of years after you and I shall write and speak no more.
