Well, first we have to dissect words. A statement that is false is any statement that is not truth. A statement that is truth is something that correlates to what's inside reality. A statement cannot create truth; it can only reflect it. No arranging of words will ever create a truth that does not already exist. "Orange monkeys fourteen times", although not a lie, is not a truth, and therefore, false. In this train of thought, the statement "This statement is false" deals only with itself, and is therefore outside of reality, making it false.
