Is it my imagination, or does everyone automatically follow the same style of faucet knob setup?

Hot on the left, cold on the right.


I'm not kidding...

Every sink in my house, save one, has that setup.

When someone came over one day and went to the sink which has the opposite setup, they almost burnt themselves because they didn't even check to see what they were turning on, they just trusted in the knobs to be what they thought it would be.

Everywhere I go, cold on the right, hot on the left..

The government is up to something..
