I have a friend I work with who ran away from his home country six years ago.... he is Kurdish and called Northern Iraq his home.... he convinced me one night that Saddam is probably the most vile person alive today.... he told me how he himself witnessed Saddams troops bury alive 50,000 Kurds and then downplayed the incident to the UN....(His dad works for the UN) he also told me how one day his friend in N.Iraq came running into his house there crying and screaming because Saddams Secret Service had just shot his Father in the head right in front of him for no reason..... these are only two examples of the sickening stories he told me.... he said that he has no other wish then for the US military to kick his sorry ass all the way out of Iraq....
I never really believed the media stories about Saddams atrocities... but when you hear it from a person who lived there and witnessed it and lost over half of his relatives to Saddams troops you really do a double take.....
