By using both god and creation in your argument you invalidate it. You cannot start a logical argument with what you are trying to prove (creation) already in it. You need something based on reality that everyone can agree on in the argument. I do not understand your jump from complexity to information. Complexity is subjective, like good, evil, beauty and ugliness, so it doesn't really do much for an argument.
If you want to use a computer analogy, think of this. If god is omniscient, or all knowing, when trying to think of something, compare his memory to a computer's memory, he would get caught in an infinate loop. If god knows everything, he would have to know everything he was going to think next. He would also have to anticipate himself knowing everything that he was going to think next. Some computer viruses work like this, creating an infinate loop.
Why did someone or something have to create the universe? Heat is energy, if you weren't aware. Theoreticaly, both matter and energy can be changed into the other. Someone or something had to create the universe. I was also under the impression that the universe was expanding.
The universe does not have to have a beginning, and if you are one of the people who like to "quote" the second law of thermodynamics, I'll be waiting.
Evolution is not an atempt to formulate a non personal beginning. Science does not give a rats ass about personal or impersonal. Because I don't accept your proof that the universe isn't eternal, I don't accept that the first cloud had to come from anywhere. Where did god come from, by the way?
Jesus Christ is alive? You saw him at WalMart, didn't you? Was he with Elvis? You bail out on the whole logical approach by the end of your speech. Other religions have so called prophecized as well, so your argument that christianity is of the future as well is nonsense. You are confusing your terms. What does "covered" mean exactly? First things are "covered" through scripture, then through prophecy (also in scripture) then you jump to personal faith. God always being with you? That's how christianity covers the present? Your reasoning behind ditching other religions is all garbage, and I'm sure you see that. You had a decent argument until you had to convince us christianity was right. My guess is mommy and daddy told you it was, end of story. |
