Hey guys...great idea..I've read all the threads related and have a few ideas that you can take or leave...

The initial idea of the book was to make money for DF so, forget the ego stroking with the artist bios at the end...it takes up space that nobody is interested in when looking at a coffee table book. What about their name and avatar discreetly on the pages with their work?? Keep the anonymity...people like that.

You will need to put some "commercial" stuff in it to sell it....that's life. What's the title?? Art from Darkness?

You only need to get copyright from accepted artists not from ALL submissions.

And what about having the cover being the guy walking through the lit doorway depicted on the homepage???...just suggestions to put in the great big melting pot.
