Okay I have a suggestion for something you can do along the same lines, but cheaper, more marketable, and easier to manage. Why not do a calendar? You could use visual art from people in here, maybe add some smaller poems as borders, mark the dates of "goth" celebs and events on the calendar and sell the crap out of it.

Everyone needs a calendar and it would have an appeal to those not associated with the site both by it's art and it's utilitarian use. It would be easier to convince a music shop, cafe, clothes store (i.e. any non-book selling goth establishment) to carry a calendar than it would a book.

Plus you can create one every year and build on the success of the year before's.
