Vorach floated from the centre of the circle taking place at the edge of the gallery, glancing around at the hundred or so assembled power beings from across the universe. With a gesture, the mist on the ground cleared as a rain of mercurial liquid poured from the open roof forming a small pool where Vorach had stood, the plains of penance appearing within, and upon them an army of demons and angels.

[Color=sky blue]As we speak the forces of Hell still under the control Lucifer are building upon the Plains of Penence in preparation of the coming war. His numbers are limited but poweful, the Angelion has joined them at my command. Lucifer has pledged his allegiance on condition, his army in exchange for a place among us.[/color]

The Gods passed glances as they considered the proposition, silent conversation taking place between them. Then in unison, they nodded in agreement, one of the Old Gods stepping forward, Shang-ti.

We accept, but only on the condition that he becomes one of us after he plays his part and the war is won, not before.

The Gods all nodded looking at Vorach as Shang-ti returned to his place.

[Color=sky blue]So be it, your condition is accepted. I will inform him of the will of the Pantheon.[/color]

The Old Gods nodded as Vorach spoke, with a wave of his hand the scene changed revealing Reficul and the legion of angels that were guarding it.

[Color=sky blue]The forces of light gather now in Reficul, the are even more limited than Lucifer's legion, though they are all Seraph and as such will provide considerable resistance.[/color]

Vorach waved his hand again and the scene shimmered showing the Black Citadel and the assembled Legion.

[Color=sky blue]Set's numbers are superior, though his forces are not, his demons are weak. This is only the tip of the iceberg, and though Set may control much of Hell's forces, the greater demons serve Lucifer. The balance of power lays with Set, but it is spread thinly.[/color]

Vorach paused as the Gods glanced to each other, Odin and Ares whispering, before the God of War Odin stepped forward.

We must reinforce Reficul, if Set were to bring forth his forces from the Hells directly into Reficul, it will not stand against such a threat.

[Color=sky blue]Set will require an agent to incant the magics necessary, and at this time the wards protecting Reficul prevent any such action.[/color]

The other Gods nodded, as Odin stood arms crossed defiant. Ares moved forward and stood beside Odin and continued to press Odin's point.

We must not take the chance, if Reficul falls, the Hero may not be able to muster enough power to defeat the march of the Legion he is not invincible, he can still be destroyed. If Set is able to continue his march it will be some time before we can orchestrate the coming of a new Hero.

The other Gods spoke silently as they contemplated Ares' and Odin's points, before they nodded in agreement with the war gods.

[Color=sky blue]Very well, we shall lend our power to Reficul. I shall depart to inform Lucifer of our decision.[/color]

Vorach vanished instantly as he teleported from the gallery to the Plains of Penance.
