I just got Dynasty Warriors 2 for the Playstation 2 (Yes, I own a PS2 ALL YOU FOOLS BOW BEFORE MY MIGHT! And weep for my poor little maxed out credit card) Its pretty fun. I've been waiting for a war game where you are actually on the battlefield, slaughtering thousands in your efforts to reach the enemy officers. Unfortunately after purchasing the PS2 and game... I'm too damn poor to buy a memory card, and the first level gets boring after a while.
What that has to do with anything... I don't know. I'm gonna list my favorite games ever.
1. Metroid (NES) - Without a doubt the best game ever made period. The graphics for the time were superiour, the game was difficult, the story line was interesting, it was fun as hell, had several endings, a ton of weapons. Good fucking game.
2. Final Fantasy 2 (SNES) - Nobody try to tell me 7 was better. This game had the greatest story line of any video game ever. Sacrifices were made, loves were formed, rivalry, betrayal, friendship. It simply cant be beat. The characters also owned.
3. Dragon Warrior 3 (NES) - CLASSIC. Kickass story line, complicated dungeons, cool treasures... what more could you possibly want. Besides all that, this game was flat out fun
4. Test Drive 5 (PS) - Possibly the most addictive game of all time. I'm a huge racing game fan... and I think this is the best one ever made. Cool tracks, WHIP ASS cars, fun shit.
5. Mario Kart (SNES) - Don't deny it, you loved this fucking game. I remember the massive tournaments me and my friends would play. We would resolve fights with this game. Instead of hitting each other, we would hop into the bodies of Luigi or Bowser and obliterate each other with Red shells.
6. Final Fantasy 3 - Not better than 2, but still kickass. Mainly I put this on the list for one reason alone. Cyan. He is the coolest character from any of the FF games, and possibly the coolest video game character ever (with the exception of Samus).
7. Gauntlet (NES) - Elven Economics baby, I was the master. The fine art of zipping around and stealing all the treasure, leaving the Warrior to tank and get his ass kicked by all the bad guys. Shit this game was fun.
8. The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past (SNES) - By far the best Zelda ever. I actually never owned this game, I rented it and kept it until it was beaten. Combine a sweet story line, kickass graphics, and excellent music, and you have an all around good game.
9. Final Fantasy (NES) - The game that started it all, I give it fat props simply for beginning the trend. It was so huge... so uncomprenhendably vast at the time. I loved it, and I still love it. And for any of you fools out there that don't know: Unequip those damn nunchucks from the Black Belt... he fights much better with his bare hands!
10. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PS) - I literally played this game for 11 hours straight one day. But even WORSE than that, I have 3 friends that WATCHED me play this game for 11 hours straight. They sat on the couch, engrossed as I battled through zombies and vampires and bats and all kinds of evil shit. This game rules.
Theres my list. Hope you like it. |
