ah, vinny. its early so my opinion may change, but so far i find vin to be a lump of an actor. he just does nothing for me. nor for this movie. his character doesnt propel any of the action. he is just a cog in this thing. hes just....there.
this movie is dull. bland. witless. there is no personality to this movie. no point of view. nothing to distinguish it from anything else thats out there. the action scenes are so so. but they dont build toward anything. no momentum. they are filler. then the filler is like even MORE filler on top of that.
and the actor playing the lead villian was laughable. i could tell he wasnt on a diet. he was chewing on too much scenery to be going hungry.
i will give credit where credit is due. the stunt personnel do an admirable job with what they have to work with. so there is the one saving grace. but it is not nearly enough.
I have to agree...This movie was not worth the money. It might be worth to rent. But I was going to the theatre expecting a decent movie and it didn't happen.
i dripped no adrenalin. my pulse rate didnt climb or even go out for a quick stroll. and the edge of my seat was vacant.
i hear tell that this hear movie is supposed to be one of them thar "popcorn flicks". thats all well and good. i dont mind a goof off film every now and again. but is it too much to expect SOME kind of effort on the part of the filmmakers? with this movie it apparently was. [/b]
