hmm, for me to spend $70 on a game, i will hardly play after several months is too much... MTG has some advantages in my eyes over any other card game - it constantly changes and has an established tournament system that prevents it from getting boring over time... i'm playing MTG for about two and a half years and over that time i've spend on it about $500-600. that's including the costs for the trips to Warsaw and Prague for grand prix . i've been able to amass quite a good collection of cards during that time and if i ever will decide to quit, i'll be able to sell my cards and get my money back as a result. and if you have some trading skills, then you don't need to spend that much money to get new cards. it's not that difficult to trade cards with others if needed. ah, and one more thing... only an idiot will spend money on buying boosters when he needs one card from it. so easier to go to any store that sells singles and buy that card...

well, anyway, that's just my opinion, so please don't flame me too much on it . would i have more money, i could consider playing other card games as well, but the situation with card games in our small country is bad for obvious reasons...
