well after that impressive display...some years

5000 bc the sumerian city of temples-umma(sp) is dated...however between the years of 6000 and 8000bc a lot of advancement" showed up...for example...agriculture showed signs of beginning in the fertile crescent(7000)... the first (triple aspect) deities showed up in turkey with the hacilar culture and Jericho in jordan(not me:p) is dated as the oldest city at 6850-6770 bc...there are older cultures than the sumerians true, but it wasn't until they showed up that religion started to take a mystical aspect...before it was all just banging to rocks to get fire and cave paintings...however it wasn't until 300 bc that a lot of ending began...and then came christ...and the bible...if the book of doom was indeed around since mankind has roamed this planet...than it is not of mankinds stories...the demonic(evil aspect) didn't even start showing up until the sumerians showed up and brought that art with them...i'll get some dates on the "jungle tribes" and native americans, i'm sure they are even far older...but I doubt that is an historical possibility...you should read the necronomicon!(not by h.p. lovecraft) it has a more realistic flavor in my opinion
