They say that pain is mere impulses sent by your nerves to your brain to tell your nerves that they are being harmed and in turn, send that back to your brain as some form of "pain". But if this is the case, then perhaps pain is only an invention of our brains to tell us to take our damn hand off a hot stove. Maybe it is not the heat which causes the "pain," but our nerves telling our brain to tell our nerves to tell our brain. And if this is the case, does pain feel different to everyone? How do we know? How can we? And also, why couldn't we simply have some other feeling or way by which we can tell that we are hurtng ourselves, instead of it feeling so unplesant? Like, maybe a buzzing in our ears, or a little red flashing light in the back of our eyelids. Maybe pain is just our brain's own little way of punishing our stupidity for putting our hand on the stove anyway... ~It isn't what faith you hold to be true; it is that you have faith~ ~Assume whichever form is pleasing, show compassion and always love, have faith, and always be true to yourself~
