Then let it happen... more often. Once you become comfortable with the knowledge there is more about... You will be able to relay that information between concious and subconcious states, without the shock that severs that connection.
Give it time. When it becomes accepted by both states, you can analyse further...
And Lover2No1, aka Shrek, it is quite possible to meditate without a clear mind. Just the thoughts constraining the meditation themselves need to be clear... Meditation, after all, is nothing more then an active stimulation of the subconcious mind.
But from one who seems to have control as the primary reason for his learning, I would expect nothing less. Control self before any other... And make sure self is only controlled by self, at all time...
