Personally no, but I knew a friends mother who would not leave her room, because of this "among other phobias", but she would constantly wash her hands w/ borax soap, which made the flesh on her hands raw. It was intense. She had to have my friend do everything for her. I would stay the night over, and wake up to her talking to herself in the bathroom washing her scabby hands with borax. But I think she was screwed up in other ways.
