Something started the big bang, whether it was a solid state entity which reach critical mass, pure unstable energy, or a actual sentient being. That thing was god, it made us, created us from it self. It is the source of all, I just dont pretend to know what the source is.
So there is a god and it may infact just be a rock... so rock on.

How could it begin with a rock? If there was a rock there before then the big bang wasn't the beginning, was it? And how can you call a rock God? It's a rock. God means lots of other things too, as well as the cause of the universe. He may exist, he may not, but we will never know if the sort of God that most of us think of exists, because of the way he is defined. Isn't religion clever, eh?
