Manson can wax philisophical all he wants, he's just spindoctoring the fact he's been concentrating too hard on making himself out to be a bowie/floyd-esque rock legend, and not enough on his music. Listen manson, it's real spiffy that you can depict yourself in tarot symbols and numerology, and liken the JFK assassination to Jesus Christ's crucifixion (over and over and OVER again) but try picking up your fucking guitar and releasing a listenable album! how many years has it been since ACS came out?
He's trying too hard to sell a message these days. He wants his message to be heard by the masses, so instead of outshouting and outshocking like he did on ACS, he's neutered himself and become another watered down pop rock icon so his "messages" can be better received through mass media... survey says: sell-out.
(goes into david spade mode)
Yeah, Mechanical Animals... good album, of course i liked it better the first time... WHEN it was called "Ziggy Stardust." Yeah, Bowie's a LITTLE more recognizable than alice cooper, there buddy, you fooled a couple of us the first time, but no. See you on the VH1 golf tour. Help Us Make A Difference!
