Preston... i hate to say it, but you're sounding like a crotchity old man too set in his ways to accept all thsoe newfangled technologies... kind of like my sister and computers or my surrogate niece and anything before cds... i like emulators as much as the next Gamer and yes I DO get pissed off when some fourth grader pops a buck worth of twopence in my machine and proceeds to castrate me in front of my Clan... but that is no reason to say that games these days are just eye candy...
