Solution:

Sell your Playstation at you local Babbage's, or Software Etc. in the mall. I believe that they will buy it used if it is in good condition. I trade and sell with them all the time.

Then, sell your DVD player at a pawn shop or in the classified's in your newspaper.

Now, what have you got? A good amount of cash, and no Playstation or DVD player. So, save up a little more money, and then get yourself a PS2. With taxes they are only $325. If you are old enough, and you are just some teenager, and it truly does not matter where you are employed at, then get a second job at Wal-mart, or some other place that sells PS2's, and you will get a discount on whatever you buy. I get a 30% discount on everything except food. But remember, keep your other job! Just get employed with the other place so you can get the discount on the PS2. Plus, you'll be workin' double-time, and you'll have some extra cash when you quit the job.
