Fine, I'll give you Isreal, But Kuwait was only defended because of the oil reserves it has. Sod the fact that the place is one of the most corrupt countries in the world. It was financially viable to defend kuwait and that's why it was done, but in doing so, the Iraqi regime has used it's propaganda machine to label the west 'devis' and god knows what else. Removing Hussian would have not left as vast a power vacucm as you may imagine. By using saudi arabia as a backdrop, they could have installed a new governemtn with the saudi backing. Because a democratic ally which owes you money is far better then a ruthless despoit who wants you oil and the two cities of tremndous people power (mecca and Medina) that you hold.
Neon "I've oft been told by learned friars
That wishing and the crime were one
And heaven punishes desires
As much as if the deed were done.
If wishing damns us, you and I
Are damned to all our hearts content.
Come then we may at least enjoy
Some pleasure for our punishment..."
