I don't know why the Dreamcast fell? I mean the graphics were really good, almost close to the Playstation 2. I never bought one because I had a feeling this would have happened. Now that Dreamcasts are cheap, I think I will buy one because it does have some great games.
as for Nintendo 64, it was all the damn catridges fault. Nintendo has since learn from this mistake and the next gen wars
will different!!!! Also look at the last year or so of the Nintendo 64...It had
Perfect Dark and Conkers Bad Fur Day...Which just shows how Nintendo knows that they should reach that older audience. Yes it is true it had cartoonish graphics, but a great game is not made by its graphics alone, gameplay plays an important role!!!!
Also Nintendo's thing is Quality over Quantity....and even with its immature graphics, I wanna play Super Smash Bros:Melee on the Gamecube........
It is hard for developers to make games for PS2, but it still has some great 3rd party games. The PS2 with a year ahead of the competition has a Huge selection of games some of which I wish I could play.
