I don't think so, Humans don't follow the same path of evolution as every other life form on the planet (strange isn't it?)
Basically, humans don't have an evolutionary tree, we haven't split into sub species like all other life forms, we are all directly descended from the oldest fossilised remains of humans but.... we don't look like them, humans are getting progressivly taller also our cerebral cortex is getting larger especially the frontal lobes.
I think the main reason that peple say we're not evolving is that it isn't happening fast enough for people to see.
