But the bible isn't the word of god, it is a book written by men, god didn't write the bible, men did and claimed it to be his word. Men who sought power over others, men who subjegated women, waged war , murdered, plundered, men who grew wealthy while others suffered. The bible is full of apparently noble words but the men who wrote, altered and controlled those words were and still are corrupt, thats why your preacher could throw the bible on the floor and god didn't give him a sign of displeasure because it is not gods word.If there were a point worth taking from your preachers actions it is that you have to throw away words and lies when you seek god and look in your own heart for the answer. When you trust the bible or even when you call yourself christian and join with churches it is not god that you put your faith in but men. You put your faith in them, that they are not liars, false prophets or devils. If there is evil in this world where would it be, would it be in the hands of those christians who murdered nonbelievers in the name of the faith you now profess. Would that evil be in the words of a book that appears to speak truth when its deceits are the death of the soul.Would it hide in the hands of priests who pervert the divine power of sexuality into something that creates fear, guilt and evil.
I admire your faith blind or not, but have you placed your faith in god or a devil playing at being god.
