I have to disagree with you, here, Clearwitch. Love can endure if you
work at it. Too many people aren't willing to do that, because they think it should be easy. It shouldn't and isn't. It's like anything else you want in your life. You have to be willing to work, compromise and sacrifice. That's romantic love, anyway.
What about family love? Love of a parent for his/her child? Love of a child for parents, or grandparents? If you think that will weaken and die, then I'm sorry for the kind of family life you have.
