Crimson Remains

Blood blossoms
A crimson rose against my skin
Tainting purest snow
Blooming in the night

Stars illuminate
Snow covered plains
Beautiful droplets
Staining perfect innocence

Slowly trickling from my lips
Blood flows freely, faster
Snow is falling
Red is consuming

Life's dark liquid pouring
Eyes only see
A blooming rose
Beautiful against my skin

Cold, numbing the pain
Let agony flow free
Release me from its hold
Until only crimson remains

Invisible

Fading fast
Distant memories of a distant love
All turns to grey
nothing matters now

Who shall I look to for joy?
Love is a mere whisper
The voice of days past
Gone forever

Falling away
Pulling away
Wasting away
Farther and farther away


Look at me
Loot to me
Do not look through me
Anything but invisible

Disappearing
Non-existent
Hate but never ignore
Don't leave

Love ceases to matter
Basic need remains

Tears turn to blood

Agony grabs hold
Something breaks

Never leaving

Always there

Thorns hide beneath a rose
Tears hide beneath a smile
Rain hides behind the clouds
Tattered remnants of a heart
No more places to hide

Screaming, pleading
Beneath a frozen heart
Awaiting decay
Falling, dieing

Blood paints a pretty picture
Thorns are piercing
Tears are streaming
Rain is pouring
My heart is dieing
