I'll run on a twilight beach. Wondering where I am but knowing exactly where I'm at.
Knowing each moment was a leech. Keep running boy, if only the boy could go back.
Two feet find out how to walk again. Lost on each grain of sand, fleeing this written ending.
She wrote an injured story that doesnt mend. These tired legs go where they send me.
And only for a moment do i forget what we or "us" meant.
They say you'll never forget. Heels hurt reminding me that this isn't what its supposed to be.
Seconds lay as chips in a bet. "It'll take time" when time is not what i constantly see.
No one here for miles. Lost with the sound of these waves crashing with my dreams.
Skyscraper thoughts with abandoned building smiles. Was perfect as good as it seemed.
And only for a moment i'm sorry i was around for awhile.
So I see that water. Legs are giving like a handout.
I look harder. Because these moments are lost in a womans shout.
Go, whispers, go, hands, go, kisses, go, want, go, need, go, love,
Being a part to you isnt being a part of
Shed these clothes and run
Skin lizard scales shining in a black sun
This craziness is comfort
But only in this moment will i decide to jump.
I look up to the surface
Under a grave I'm digging because I'm too tired to swim
