I recently read a pop philosophy book called "Think" that pointed out no matter how much you ponder religion, you don't come away with any more that that with which you approached the issue, meaning no one actually finds The Answer: as with so many other issues, you conclude there are pros & cons but no real proof for any religion, so you end up choosing based on what you feel.
I stated somewhere back in this thread I was Christian trying to stay that way, so I'll update by telling you I've joined a weekly study for people at all stages/positions regarding Christianity, and I'm trying approaching it without preconceptions. |
