I think the reason this monstrous woman is so popular with the goth or those-that-claim-not-to-be-gawth-but-really-are is the whole blood/vampire thing. I don't see how anyone should be canonized and worshipped for being an insane, murderous bitch. What's more, I can't believe such license is being taken with the movie plot to turn this into some sort of feminist statement. YES WOMEN CAN DO ANYTHING MEN CAN DO! INCLUDING SERIAL MURDER! I'm wondering how long it's going to take Hollywood to admit they've run out of ideas.

On the plus side, at least we're taking a break from bad comic book adaptations.
