And as to the questions...
As far as what would make the 'perfect' death, how it happened would be less important than when it happened. That would be IMO when one is ready for it, and I would think most people (including suicides though it wouldn't seem so) wouldn't be ready to find out what might be beyond this plane of existence if anything.
As far as funeral and such, my answer is what difference would it make? The way I see it I wouldn't know what was going on after I'd died because my consciousness would not be of the sort that I have now, and if it were then there would be little I could do concerning the goings on. There would be little that I could do at that point to change anything if my wishes hadn't been carried out as I'd instructed.
